In plain terms. Nova Helix is desktop software licensed to you, not sold. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions you can cancel at any time. It is an AI assistant, so it can be wrong. Do not rely on it for decisions that matter without checking.
1. Agreement
By installing or using Nova Helix (“the Software”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
2. Licence
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software on computers you own or control, for the plan you hold. Each plan allows a set number of devices at once (Free: one, Pro: three, Ultra: five); you can free a seat with “Sign out on this device” inside Nova Helix. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Software or its licence keys, nor attempt to circumvent plan restrictions or licence verification.
The Software and its models remain the property of their respective owners. Bundled open-source models are governed by their own licences, which are supplied with the Software.
3. Plans and payment
- Free: no charge, no account required.
- Pro: 20 US dollars per month.
- Ultra: 33 US dollars per month.
Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply to you. We may change prices with reasonable notice, and a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
4. Licence delivery
After a successful payment, your licence key is emailed to the address you used at checkout once the order has been processed. Delivery is not instant. If your licence has not arrived and you believe something has gone wrong, contact us and we will sort it out.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time. Your plan remains active until the end of the period you have paid for, plus a short grace period, and is not renewed after that. We do not generally provide partial refunds for unused time, but if the Software does not work as described on supported hardware, contact us and we will put it right or refund you.
6. Your hardware
Because the Software runs models locally, performance depends on your computer. We publish the hardware each plan targets: Free, Pro and Ultra. We cannot guarantee particular speeds on hardware weaker than those targets.
7. Acceptable use
You are responsible for how you use the Software and for anything you produce with it. Do not use it to break the law or to harm others. Because the Software runs locally, we cannot monitor your use, so that responsibility is genuinely yours.
8. AI output
The Software generates text using language models. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable, and it is not professional advice of any kind. Verify anything important before relying on it.
9. Warranty and liability
The Software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Software or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Suspension
We may suspend or revoke a licence that is being redistributed, shared beyond the permitted use, or used to attack the licensing system. Where reasonable, we will contact you first.
